The Spaceship Company (TSC) is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a background in aeronautical acquisition, as well as government Research, Development, Test and Evaluation. If you join us in this position, you will help drive TSC’s strategic growth by identifying and developing opportunities that are responsive to customer and market needs as well as contribute to government relations and policy work. Applicants should be able to formulate successful market strategies and have an understanding of the relevant government organizations and markets, including NASA, Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. TSC is seeking a first rate aerospace propulsion design engineer with experience in composite design and production manufacturing. The primary task for the person in this role will be to develop engineering definition for components and subsystems in the hybrid propulsion system of SpaceShipTwo. Engineers in this position will also be expected to review planned manufacturing procedures to ensure compliance with design specifications and intentions, support test definition for verification testing of components and subsystems, and manage components and subsystems through their full lifecycle.

TSC is seeking a first-rate aerospace Engineer Specialist with experience in vehicle stress analysis, repairs, and production manufacturing. The Engineer Specialist will compile analysis, reports, models, and margins of safety into standardized formats for upload into TSC’s product lifecycle manager. Additionally, the analyst will support the design engineering staff with drawing release. The analyst is ultimately responsible for ensuring the vehicle structural design meets the customer mission requirements with positive margins of safety. The first task of this role will be to help establish the automated manufacturing process flow and documentation for building selected portions of composite overwrapped pressure vessels (COPVs). The engineer in this position will help define what automated production equipment, tools, systems, and materials will be required in order to create an efficient, organized, and lean factory. After production operations begin, the engineer will support automated production development work of the COPVs and work on process improvement and production optimization using lean processes and tools. An additional task of this role will be to help establish the requirements and documentation for tests in support of the SS2 Hybrid Propulsion System. This role will lead and participate in projects developing new and improved methods of building composite aero-structures. The engineer in this position will help define what manufacturing processes, equipment, tools, and materials will be used in order to enable future vehicles to be both light-weight and easy to build. This position will work very closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality departments to ensure that new manufacturing methods enable future structures to be light weight, easy to analyse, easy to inspect, as well as easy to produce. After developing new and improved manufacturing processes, the engineer in this role will be responsible for documenting and transferring newly developed processes to the production team.

The primary tasks of this person will be to coordinate, develop, design and qualify integrated mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, braking, steering, and tire systems pertaining to landing gear, to enhance and improve the spaceship, carrier vehicle, and other new products. Knowledge of the design life cycle process from requirements definition to system qualification is required. Demonstrated proficiency in CATIA V5 or equivalent is required.

TSC is seeking an experienced Aircraft Systems Design Engineer, capable of designing and leading a small team of engineers. The primary task of this role will be to develop, design and qualify integrated mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems to enhance and improve the spaceship and carrier vehicles systems. Knowledge of the design life cycle process from requirements definition to vehicle qualification is required. Competency in first order design and analysis principles and CATIA or equivalent is a must. The job will also involve reviewing the existing prototype designs and test data and identify areas for development or further testing.

Who You Are
Integrates engine thrust decks with vehicle performance tools. Creates and maintains internal aerodynamics models. Performs performance trades as required. Works closely with all parties to ensure all performance, cost and scheduling goals are met. The Air Breathing Propulsion Engineer will coordinate with key stakeholders – Chief Engineer, Engineering Functional Managers, Program Management, Production, Supply Chain, Flight Test, Maintenance, etc., – to complete engineering activities in accordance with Program requirements.

TSC is seeking a first rate, highly qualified and motivated Cyber Security Engineer as a key member of TSC’s IT Department. The Cyber Security Engineer will work in close coordination with the Infrastructure Team to ensure high levels of service/uptime to the enterprise. This position will be primarily responsible for the Security of TSC’s technological Infrastructure, i.e WAN, LAN Wireless; including all TSC’s corporate applications.
