    Who You Are

    TSC is seeking a Mass Properties Engineer to join our team. This position will use CATIA, Excel, and possibly other tools to determine mass, inertia, and center of gravity (CG), of the two vehicles. The design, mass, and CG of the vehicle is constantly changing, therefore the Mass Properties Engineer must develop tools and processes to automate this analysis. This position requires intimate knowledge of aircraft/spacecraft manufacturing techniques as well as the types of materials used and the properties of each material. Provide cross-functional support to other members of the engineering organization as necessary to ensure safe and efficient product delivery.



    Your Mission

    • Selects appropriate methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria to resolve complex engineering issues
    • Anticipates and resolves issues by developing standards and guidelines for diverse engineering activities
    • Ability to problem solve with a balance of technical product, cost, and schedule
    • Determines technical objectives of assignments and makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative
    • Maintains current knowledge of developments in the field of specialty and/or other related spacecraft innovations to improve quality and effectiveness of product

    What you bring

    • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or related discipline
    • Working knowledge of aircraft and space systems and familiarity with relevant aerospace standards (FAA, FAA‐AST etc)
    • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detail
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
    • Strong IT skills, including Excel, Catia V5 and computer programming capability
