Who You Are

TSC is seeking a materials scheduler experienced in scheduling and staging materials demand and resources for manufacturing. As the materials scheduler you would be responsible for organizing and scheduling the detailed materials supply plan and detailed production control plan. You would work closely with materials planners to identify material and resource shortages impacting the detailed production control plan. You would also work closely with the procurement and materials management team to expedite part shortages for the manufacturing floor.

 

 

Your Mission

  • Responsible for scheduling resources and staging material kits on the manufacturing floor according to the production schedule.
  • Coordinate production plans to ensure materials are provided and staged according to schedule.
  • Monitor identified part shortages in kits and expedite as required to manufacturing floor.
  • Assist materials planners to monitor use of MRP system to create job sequences, to schedule jobs, to monitor and report on time performance and to drive automation of material forecast, as requested.
  • Close production jobs when complete.

What you bring

Professional Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Materials or Supply Chain Management (or related field) plus a minimum of 2 years’ experience in operations/supply chain or order management (Or High School Diploma plus 4 years’ experience in operations/supply chain or order management) preferred.
    Experience working in a cross functional, highly matrixed environment.
  • Experience working with and effectively building rapport at all levels within an organization.
  • Proven experience with influencing others without a direct supervisory relationship
  • Expert level skills using Excel (programming macros a plus)
  • Experience using an ERP/MRP system for materials and inventory management (Oracle preferred)
  • Excellent organizational skills and problem solving skills
