    Main Purpose of Role

    TSC is seeking an entry level Metrology Techncian that is ready to learn! This role is for a hands-on person with great versatility with regard to building and assembling large precision structues.

    Your Mission

    • Hands‐on Tooling assembly
    • Large structure handling: driving a forklift, scissor lift, boom lift, etc. operating a crane or hoist, installing concrete mounting points in floor, accurately locating large or heavy structure to within .005” accuracy.
    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
    • Utilizing CAD or 3D software for inspection (one or more of the following):
    • PC Demus, Verisurf, Geomagic, Polyworks, Spacial Analyser, or similar Metrology software
    • Working with laser trackers or similar positioning systems
    • Works either our 1st Shift schedule (7:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday and 7:00am-3:30pm every other Friday, with every opposite Friday off) or our 2nd Shift schedule (3:30pm-1:00am, Monday-Thursday and 3:30pm-12:00am every other Friday, with every opposite Friday off)... 10% shift differential pay for 2nd shift!

    What you bring

    • Hands on experience in setup of large scale precision fixtures or tooling
    • Excellent Organizational Skills and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent computer skills (CAD and/or 3D software packages) as well as standard Microsoft products
    • Strong team player
    • Experience with large aircraft assembly and inspection a plus Metal shop skills (welding, grinding, machining, etc) a plus


    ITAR Requirements

    To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15) or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
