The Spaceship Company (TSC) is an affiliate of Virgin Galactic as a space-system manufacturing organization. Who You Are
TSC is seeking an experienced CNC Router Operator to run precision components on Fanuc based CNC routers. Parts fabricated on these machines will vary in material, complexity, and in tolerance requirements. Parts produced would be low quantity and rarely repetitive. The ideal person for this role must be able to learn quickly and repetitively produce quality components with little supervision. The person in this position must be comfortable working in a team environment and willing to work overtime when required.

Your Mission

  • Must be willing to work in a team environment.
  • Proficient in using inspection equipment to verify machined features.  (eg. Vernier calipers, OD Micrometers, Dial indicators, etc…)
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, CAD models, & GD&T symbols.
  • Must be willing to assist with equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Must be able to set-up and operate the machines independently with little supervision.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills

What you bring

  • Must have High School diploma or equivalent
  • Applicants must be U.S. persons as defined by the ITAR (22 CFR §120.15).
  • Experience using “Mastercam” a plus
  • Experience machining large parts a plus
  • Experience using Microsoft products a plus (eg. Word, Excel, Outlook, etc…)
